Maria Henry (nee Robichaud), 94, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday July 7, 2021 in Moncton. Born in Notre-Dame, in Kent County,
NB, Maria was the daughter of the late Georges Robichaud and Annie
(Bourque), and the wife of the late Bud Henry.
Maria will be missed by her two daughters: Monique Allain
(Sylvio) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and Nicole Henry (Mike Titus) of
Moncton; her five grandchildren: Jacob, Malcom, Simon, Zoé,
and Carly; her two step-grandchildren: Nick and Emily; her three
sisters: Thérèse Bourque and Noëlla
Poirier of Moncton, and Georgina Frenette of Bathurst; as well as many
cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Maria was predeceased by her three sisters: Florence Kearns,
Jeanne Griffin, and Irene Cormier; her two brothers: Raymond Robichaud
and Paul Robichaud; as well as her husband, Bud Henry.
Maria was an avid bowler, dart player and curler winning many
trophies in her younger years. She enjoyed outdoor activities with her
family. She loved playing cards, road trips with her sisters, and
toe-tapping music. She had a love of life, always smiling and a
contagious laugh. She was a mother and grandmother full of
love.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday July
13 from 10 to 11 am. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required
with social distancing regulations in effect. The funeral service will
follow at 11 am. In memory of Maria, a contribution to the
Moncton’s Alzheimer Society would be
appreciated.
