Sylvia Gallant, 81, of Grand-Barachois, widow of late Alyre Gallant (2003), passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, June 27th, 2021. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Camille V. and the late Delvina (Vautour) Cormier.
She is survived by her three daughters: Norma Belliveau (Ronald) of Moncton, Pauline Gallant (Kim) of Fredericton and Debbie Léger (Ola) of Trois-Ruisseaux; two sons: Gary (Diane) of Dupuis Corner and Bernard of Bouctouche; her siblings: Hector (Judy) of Cap-Pelé, Lucie Jacob of Cap-Pelé, Albertine Léger of Grand-Barachois, Yvonne LeBlanc (Armand) of Dieppe and Régis of Cap-Pelé; sister-in-law, Murielle Cormier of Cap-Pelé; six grandchildren: Jenny, Melissa, Marc, Pierre, Randy and Christopher; six great-grandchildren: Coralie, Alek, Colton, Deven, Amélia and Dominik, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Alyre (2003), brother Rhéal, great-granddaughter Kamille; brothers-in-law Eric Jacob and Camille Leger.
A private family funeral service was held. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
