Barbara Gauvin, 78, of Shediac, passed away on Friday June 25, 2021, at The Moncton hospital. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Claudia (Vautour) Hendrickson.
She is survived by two daughters: Darlene of Shediac and Monique Doiron (Donald) of Haute-Aboujagane; one son, Jeffrey (Donna) of Moncton; one sister, Colleen Gallant of Pointe-du-Chêne; one brother, Raymond Hendrickson (Athora) of Toronto; nine grandchildren: Jenny, Tara, Trevor, Angel, Matt, Jessica, Josh, Ryan and Jacob; two great-grandchildren: Felicia and Damien, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Gauvin (2001) and a sister, Sylvia Sararas.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday June 30 from 10 am until time of funeral. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect.
The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac on Wednesday June 30 at 11am. Due to the pandemic, there is a limit of 75 people for funeral service with social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral mass will be live streamed on Barbara’s obituary on our website. Interment will be in the St-Joseph parish cemetery, Shediac.
