Regina Chiasson, 100, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Thursday June 24, 2021 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Paquetville, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Caroline (Chiasson) Godin.

She is survived by three daughters: Claudette, Micheline, and Suzanne; two sons: Claude and André; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rita Montreuil and Jeannette Godin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mathias (2003); one daughter, Louise; one sister, Alice; seven brothers: Edmond, Patrice, Edouard, Leonard, Maxime, Louis, and Jacques.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Monday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 330 Dominion Street, Moncton on Monday June 28 at 11 am. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton. In memory of Regina, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
