Rodolphe Daigle, 75, of Shediac and formerly of St-Charles, passed away on Thursday June 10, 2021, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. He was the son of the late Alphonse and Lina (Chiasson) Daigle.

He will be sadly missed by his spouse, Andrée; son, Lamont; granddaughter, Madison; sisters: Jocelyne Frigault (Johnny), Denise Daigle (Claude Bordage) and Paulette Daigle; brother, Louis; parents-in-law, Jean-Claude and Annette Belliveau, as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and by several nieces and nephews.

Rodolphe had a gift for wood carving from a young age. He began to perfect this art especially following his retirement in 2005. He was able to create real works of art.

A quiet person, Rodolphe knew how to make those close to him laugh, including his spouse, Andrée, with his wisecracks and funny comments that came out when you did not expect it. These precious moments will remain imprinted in the memory of those close to him.

Due to the pandemic, a small private family celebration will be celebrated at a later date.

In memory of Rodolphe, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

 The funeral arrangements are in the professional care of the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
