Émile Cormier, 92, of Shediac, formerly of
Cap-Pelé, passed away at the Villa Providence, Shediac on
Saturday, June 5, 2021. Born in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of
the late Arthur and Sara (Boudreau) Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Rosella (Claude)
Boudreau of Grand- Barachois; his three sons, Donald (Suzanne) of
Shediac, Guy (Mireille) of Cap-Pelé and Antoine (Pauline)
of Boudreau Ouest; his daughter-in-law, Suzanne Cormier of Cocagne;
his brother, Adolphe of Cap-Pelé and his sister,
Dométhilde LeBlanc of Mass., USA; his two sisters in-law,
Anita Cormier of Moncton and Léa Cormier of Grand-Digue;
his ten grandchildren, Kevin, Maryse, Isabelle, Véronique,
Janick, Sophie, Nicholas, Sébastien, Alexandre and
Ghislain; his seven great grandchildren, Karelle, Émile,
Laurent, Alexya, Emma, Alyssa and Anelle; as well as several nieces
and nephews.
Besides his parents: Émile was predeceased by
wife, Juliette (McGraw) Cormier; his son, Ubald; his sister, Emma
Richard; his brothers, Camille, Albert, Edouard, Arthur,
Léo, Thaddée and
Alphée.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday,
June 10, 2021, from 2:00 pm till 3:45 pm. Due to the
pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of
50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in
effect.
The funeral mass will be celebrated in
Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R. C. church, 2648
Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 4:00
pm. Due to the pandemic, there is a limit of
200 people for funeral mass with social
distancing regulations are in effect.
In memory of Émile, a
contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) would be
appreciated.
