Julia Bourque, 94, of Mazerolle Special Care Home in Dieppe,
passed away on Friday May 14, 2021 at The Moncton hospital. Born in
Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late
Amédée and Rose (LeBlanc)
Bourque.
She is survived by one daughter, Yolande Cormier
(André) of Moncton; one grandson, Gérald
(Bonnie-Jean) of Guelph, ON; one sister, Helen Dever of Grande-Digue;
one brother, Gérald (late Léontine) of
Notre-Dame; one sister-in-law, Géraldine Bourque of
Leominster, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one grandson, Maurice; three sisters:
Edmée, Corinne and Laura; five brothers: Thomas, Adolphe,
Léo, Léandre, and Edgar.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday May
30 from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a prayer service at 12 pm. Due to
the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation
of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in
effect. The prayer service will be streamed live; to view the funeral,
go to her obituary on our Website. Interment will be in Notre-Dame. In
memory of Julia, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would
be appreciated.
