Carole Thomas, 58, of Moncton, passed away following a heart
condition, on Saturday May 22, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of Antoine "Tony" and
Jeannette (Thomas) Thomas of Petit-Tracadie, NB.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her spouse, Larry
Long of Moncton; her daughters: Cassandra Sarah Thomas-Long (Eric
Gallant) of Notre-Dame and Marika Alta Thomas-Long (Scott McIntosh) of
Moncton; her brothers: Serge (Yanetta Basque-Thomas) of Val-Comeau and
Robert (Ginette Chiasson-Thomas) of Moncton; as well as her nephews,
nieces and cousins.
Carole was dedicated to her career as an education
consultant, even after her retirement. Through several schools, she
guided and touched many people of whom she was very proud. She has
also shown incredible courage and strength through her battle with
breast cancer. Her positive attitude and courage are the
characteristics that would describe her. Above all, what she treasured
most was her family. Her two daughters were her greatest pride and
joy. Her spouse was her RV co-pilot and adventure partner. She will be
sadly missed by her children, her spouse, her parents and her two
brothers and their families. Now, in VR, she's gone on another great
trip where she will look after her family and all the people she has
met near and far.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday May
28, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Due to the pandemic,
face covering is mandatory and a maximum of 50 people at a time with

the Canadian Cancer Society (Breast Cancer) 133, rue Prince William,
