Clarence Goguen, 71, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Willie and Loretta (LeBlanc) Goguen.

Prior to his retirement, Clarence worked for the department of Public Works with the City of Moncton. He was a member of the Moncton Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6.

He is survived by five children: April Goguen, Belinda Goguen, Christine Leger (Mike), Debbie Goguen (Guillaume Thériault) and Danny Goguen; two grandchildren: Makayla Thibodeau and Hayden Goguen; the mother of his children, Evelyn Croft; three sisters: Rose Cormier, Bernice Goguen and Jeannine Glidden; as well as his nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one nephew, Timothy Cormier.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday May 26 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect.
