Simonne Allain, 60, of Lakeville, passed away on Tuesday May
18, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Gérard and Edna (Léger)
Allain.
Simonne loved playing bingo and the company of her dog Coco,
and spending time with people, especially her family and
friends.
She is survived by her partner, Léo-Paul
Fougère of Lakeville; two children: Jeremy Allain of
Moncton and Karen Vaillancourt (Marty) of Ontario; five grandchildren:
Jazmine, Chloe, Anthony, Amy and Cassidy; two sisters: Marguerita
"Maggie" Allain (Alain Schofield) and Stella Allain, both of
Moncton; five brothers: Alcide (Sylvie Côté) of
Montréal, Roger (Catherine) of Dieppe, Normand, Emery and
Maurice, all of Moncton; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts,
uncles, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother,
Victor.
By request, there will be no visitation at the funeral
centre. A private funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette
Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on
Saturday May 22 at 11 am. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are
required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with
social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral service will
be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to her obituary on our
Website. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In
memory of Simonne, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation
(dialysis) would be appreciated.
