Doris Thébeau, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Monday May 17, 2021 at the Manoir Notre-Dame. Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ozélie (Collette) Cormier.

She is survived by three children: Claudette Barr (Garrey) of Kingston Peninsula, Annette Pitre (Michel) of Fredericton, and George (Nicole) of Dieppe; six grandchildren: Denis, Melanie, Lisa, Christine, Sylvie and Luc; two step-grandchildren: Trevor and Travis; six great-grandchildren: Connor, Arielle, Melissa, Jakob, Maddison, and Ryan; five step-great-grandchildren: Alexander, Caleb, Heather, Carson, and Andrew; two step-great-great-grandchildren: Hayden and Kyleigh-Mae; one daughter-in-law, Gisèle Thébeau of Cocagne; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gérard "Gerry" (2003); one son, Gérard Jr "Tippy" (2002); three sisters: Rita, Mélanie "Minnie" and Eleonore; three brothers: Albert, George and Antoine.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the private funeral service will be celebrated on Friday May 21 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to her obituary on our Website. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Doris, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
