George Boudreau, 75, of Shediac, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Monday May 3, 2021. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Henri and Elizabeth (Vautour) Boudreau.
He worked 44 years for Canada Post. Started as a contractor and retired as an employee on March 23rd, 2021.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife for 53 years, Alice, née Comeau, of Shediac; one son, Troy (Pierrette) of Shediac; two brothers: Gerard (Roberte) and Roland all of Shediac; four sisters: Delima Boudreau (Murray Petitpas), Eunice Boudreau (Donald Vienneau) all of Shediac, Helene Englehart (Melvin) of Petitcodiac and Aline Cormier (late Maurice) of Scoudouc; three grandchildren: Cédric, Niko and Lexie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two infant children: Tammie and Bruce; one sister, Rose-Anna Blanchard.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) where the private funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday May 8 at 11 am. Visiting hours for extended family are Friday May 7 from 1 to 2 pm and public visiting hours are from 2 to 4 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect.
