
Dr. Lise Reed Daoust, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday April 29, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born Montréal, Qué., she was the daughter of the late Lucien Reed and Georgette Gauthier.
Prior to her retirement in 1995, she worked at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
She is survived two daughters Nathalie of Elgin and Christine of Ste-Anne-de-Kent, her son Marc (Andrée Poirier) of Dieppe, her grandson Gabriel, her brother-in-law Jean-Claude of Espanola, Ont., as well as several nieces and nephews, especially her Goddaughter, Mariane Grenier-Dufour, whom whe adored.
She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Jean-Paul Daoust, her sister Marielle Desormeaux, and her sister-in-law Gertrude Boucher.
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton, on Friday May 7, 2021 at 3pm. Due to the pandemic, limit of 70 people for the funeral mass, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be available on her obituary on our Website at the end of the day. Interment will be in St-Jérôme, Qué. In memory of Lise, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
