On Thursday, March 4, 2021, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family, Louisa Arseneault, 89 years old. She lived in Haute-Aboujagane.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Aimé and Justine (Landry) Boudreau.
Suffering from Alzheimer's for several years, she knew how to recognize her large family until her last breath.
Wife of the late Aquila Arseneault, she is survived by her daughters: Rina (late Terry) Pellerin, Julia, Lisa (Donald) Petitpas, Dora (Virgil) Léger, Lota, Patricia (Dominique) Gallant and Magella (Lionel) LeBlanc; her ten grandchildren: Bobby Léger (Monica Rousselle), Lita Gallant (Josh McKay), Julien Gallant, Lissa LeBlanc (Françis), Jérôme LeBlanc (Danika), Jason LeBlanc (Noémie DesRoches), Donny Léger (Josée Arsenault), Marissa Arseneault (Sébastien Goguen), Venessa Thibodeau (John Toogood) and Jessica LeBlanc; as well as her seven great-grandchildren: Kourtney, Cassidy, Bentley, Mikael, Liam, Loïk and Anna-Ève.
She is also survived by a brother, Bernard (Zena) Boudreau as well as two sisters-in-law: Dora Boudreau and Aline Boudreau.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her great-granddaughter whom she loved very much, Destiny LeBlanc, as well as her sisters and brothers: Edna Drisdelle, Rita LeBlanc, Mélas Bourgeois, Ola Boudreau, Adrice Boudreau and Ovide Boudreau.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Center, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Monday March 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are mandatory during visits and social distancing must be observed. A limit of 50 people is in effect during visiting hours at the funeral home.
