Tony Dale Poirier, 53, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday February 26, 2021 at The Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of Clifford Poirier (David Richard) of Moncton and Shirley (Deveau) Poirier of Dieppe.

Tony was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He enjoyed listening to music and doing karaoke. He has a special place in his heart for his dogs whom he loved very much.

Besides his parents, Tony is survived by his two sons: Justin Barlow and Zachary Doucet, both of Moncton; his grandson, Mathew Corey Barlow; his sister, Carrie Poirier-Lafrance (Rodney) of Dieppe; his step-brother, Steven Finnigan (Janice) of Moncton; his niece, Faith LaFrance (Alex Bastin); two nephews: James Poirier (Mylène Poirier) and Lucas Pitnam-Poirier (Melanie Tobin); by two grand-nephews: Beau and Aaden; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday March 9 from 2 to 4 pm only. By request, there will be no funeral service. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. In memory of Tony, a contribution to the Friends of Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology department) would be appreciated.
