Margaret Mary Hawkes, 69, of Riverview, passed away on Saturday February 20, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence O’Boyle and the late Dina Thibodeau.

Prior to her retirement, Margaret worked at the coffee shop in the Moncton Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold; one brother, Robert Thibodeau; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum of 25 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. The private funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s R.C. Church, 330 Dominion Street, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Margaret, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
