Marie-Anne Poirier, 70, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Eva (Gallant) Cormier.

She is survived by her husband, Jean-Alvin Cormier; two children: Alida Poirier (Paul) of Moncton, and Henri (Monique) of Bouctouche; one grandson, Camille; three sisters: Doris Firth (late David) of Toronto, ON, Eveline Cormier (Claude LeBlanc) of Miramichi, and Linda Cormier of Moncton; one brother, Léo (Yvette) of St-Philippe; as well as her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers: Emile, Paul and Dismas.

By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory of Marie-Anne, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
