It is with heavy hearts
that we announce the passing of our mother Léonie Doiron,
80, of Cap-Pelé on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Dr.
Georges-L Dumont UHC. Born in St-André, she was the
daughter of the late August and Yvonne (Babineau)
LeBlanc.
She is survived by her two daughters: Diane LeBlanc (Gene)
and Angèle Arsenault (Camille) all of Cap-Pelé;
two sons: Pierre Doiron (Kathy Miller) of Shemogue and Denis Doiron of
Scoudouc; three sisters: Dolores LeBlanc, Andréa Leblanc
and Émilienne Petit all of Montréal, QC; one
brother, Laurie LeBlanc (Aline) of Cap-Pelé; two sister
in-law: Juliette LeBlanc and Yvonne LeBlanc both of
Cap-Pelé; four grandchildren: Ashlee LeBlanc (Pierre
Alexandre Marion), Jessey LeBlanc (Jessica Michelle Auffrey), Miguel
Arsenault (Kim Landry) and Christopher Deroy; one great granddaughter,
Jasmine Deroy; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Doiron (2017);
five brothers: Léonce, Alcide, Alderice,
Alphérie and Gérard.
By request, there will be no visitation.
A private service will
be held. A live stream of the service will be on her obituary on
Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11am. Interment will be in
Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Cemetery,
Cap-Pelé.
In memory of Léonie, a
contribution to the CHU Dumont (palliative care) would be
appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements
are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396
Main Street, Shediac (532-3297).
