Stella Poirier, 90, of Moncton, passed away on Friday November 27, 2020 at her residence. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Irène (Hébert) Poirier.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Alcox of Moncton; two sons: James Alcox (Denise) and Michael Alcox, both of Moncton; five grandchildren: Jacob, Isaac, Jeffrey, James, and Dave; several great-grandchildren; four brothers: Charles Poirier (late Diane) of Scoudouc, Bernard (Auréa) and Denis (Jean), both of Moncton, and Norbert (Rachelle) of Shediac Cape; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Janice Alcox (2016).

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the nurses of the Extra-Mural Program, and her two caregivers, Rosa and Barb, for their wonderful care provided to Stella.

There will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory of Stella, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
