Simonne Goguen, 85, of Shediac passed away on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Marguerite (Boudreau) Boudreau.
Before her retirement, she was a clothing clerk for 20 years at Continental Stores in Shediac.
She is survived by a brother, Ulysse; stepchildren: Sylvia (Mario) LeBreton of Tracadie, Maria (Allain) Dupuis of Cocagne, Hervé (Yvette) Goguen of Shediac, Oscar (Gloria) Goguen and Gérard Goguen all of Cocagne, as well by several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her spouse, Paul Goguen (2004); two brothers: Camille and Albert; two stepchildren: Claudette Robichaud (late Conrad) and Alyre Goguen.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Friday, November 13th from 7 pm to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Joseph R. C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on November 14th at 10 am.
Limit of 50 persons in the funeral home at any given time during visitation. Social distancing regulations will be in effect. Masks are mandatory to enter the funeral centre.
In memory of Simonne, a contribution to the St. Joseph Vestiaire or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
