Robert J. Van Snick, 83, of Shediac, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at the Villa Providence, Shediac NB. Born in Joggins Mine NS, he was the son of the late Georges and Mabel (Comeau) Van Snick.
He is survived by his spouse, Josephine Vandenburghe; his two daughters: Patricia Price (Peter) of Moncton and Christina Pellerin (Bobby) of North Carolina US; his three sons: Joel (Linda) of Ottawa, Steven (Susan) of Moncton and Christopher (Angie) of Pointe-du-Chêne; his sisters and brothers: Joan, Catherine, Grace Ann, Rose Marie, Louis, Roger and a foster brother, Edward Cormier (Jeannie McCully); 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and the mother of his children, Sarah
Robert was predeceased by his sisters and brothers: Genevie, George Jr., Howard, Peter, Kenneth-Burnell, infant child, Bobby and granddaughter, Amanda.
In memory of Robert, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to the Villa Providence Shediac would be appreciated.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation. A private Chapel service will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, November 25, 2020 at 11 am. Face coverings are mandatory and social distancing regulations are in effect. Interment will be in Frenette Funeral Columbarium, Shediac.
