Claude "Brownie" Brun, 71, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Judith (Hébert) Brun.
Claude worked with Chez Camile Belliveau, Guy LeBlanc and he installed siding.
He is survived by his seven brothers and sisters: Léola (late Pat Comeau), Henry (Anna), Edith Bourque (late Léonide), Bernice Landry (late Paul-Émile), Laurie (Annette) all of Shediac, Bernard (Annette) of Cormier-Village and Bernadette Boudreau (Ronald) of Petit-Cap, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Claude was predeceased by his brothers: Armand, Réginald, Jean-Paul and infant brother and sister: Laurie and Edith.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday September 30 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required for visitation and social distancing regulations are in effect. Limit of 50 people in the funeral centre at any given point during visitation.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph’s R.C., 415 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday October 1st, 2020 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. The funeral mass will be videotaped and the video will be available on his obituary on our Website by the end of the day.
