Frederic "Fred" Bourgeois Jr., 71, husband of Rita (Langlois) Bourgeois, passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. I lived in Cap-Pelé. Born in Shediac, he was the son of Frederic Bourgeois of Moncton and the late Georgette (Caissie) Bourgeois.

Prior to his retirement, he was in the military. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #33, Shediac and The official lineage of 12e Régiment blindé du Canada armour regiment

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Jeffrey (Isabelle Dionne) of Quebec, QC; two sisters: Florine Bourgeois (Richard McGinnis) of Saint-John and Betty Bourgeois of Moncton; one brother, Paul (Ella Maranda) of Minto; two grandchildren: Florence and Charles.

A private funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396, Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Friday August 21, 2020 at 2 pm. Interment will be in the St-Joseph parish cemetery, Shediac. The funeral service will be streamed live; there will be a link with Fred’s obituary on our Website. Social distancing regulations will be in effect.

Masks are mandatory to enter the funeral centre.
