
Colin Bryant Carter, 33, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by his family, after a brief illness. Born May 1, 1987, he was the oldest son of Terry Carter and Patrice (Gouthro) Carter (Dana Pellerin), all of Moncton.
In addition to his parents, he is survived and missed by his long-term partner Tiffany Shediac; three sons: Maddox and Deegan, at home, and Cameron and his mother, Krista Michel of Winnipeg, MB; step-son Dawson Henwood; brother Ian Carter (Jena), step-sisters Kelly MacDonald (Danny), Jessie Smith (Robert); nieces and nephews Adelyn and Wesley Carter, Caleb Carruthers and Avery MacDonald, and Olivia and Emmett Smith; in-laws Lynn Hebert and Al Shediac (Sheila); uncles Glenn Carter and Jeff Gouthro (Cindy); aunts Susan Johnson (Glen) and Ruth Steeves (Dale); and cousins Allie and Connor Johnson.
Colin was predeceased by grandparents Harold and Pat Carter, Wilf and Nina Gouthro, and step-grandparents Victor and Louise Pellerin.
Colin was a self-employed construction worker and excelled at carpentry and masonry work. He was handy with mechanics and had a wide knowledge of interior and exterior renovation work. He loved dirt bikes, motorcycles and was a talented artist, including tattoos. Colin was a natural at sports and in his younger years participated up to the maximum level his heart condition permitted. Above all he loved his family and he always did things his own way.

The family would like to extend appreciation to IWK/QE Health and Saint John Regional Cardiac ICU for exceptional past care, and recently to the Moncton Hospital Neuro ICU for their professional and compassionate care of Colin and the family. These are all worthy causes, but if wishing to make a donation, one to his family would be greatly appreciated.
Due to COVID-19, a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
