It is with great sadness that we announce that Julien "Speaker" Henri Goguen, passed away at his residence in Shediac, on Monday August 10, 2020 at the age of 33. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Henri Goguen (Gloria LeBlanc) of Bouctouche and Michella Morin (Jean-Eudes) of Shediac Cape.

Julien worked at the CHU Dr-Georges-L. Dumont in the kitchen. When going room to room he loved to speak to the patients and make them laugh. He loved spending time at Vergé Goguen, playing guitar and helping others. He will be missed for his sense of humor and laughter.

Besides his parents, he will be sadly missed by two step-sisters: Micheline Després of Sainte-Marie and Jennifer Landry of Shediac Cape; one step-brother, Greg Morin of Moncton; step-grandfather, Roger Morin (Yvette) of Grand-Falls, NB; special friend, Dominique Richard of Moncton; best-friend, Janelle Léger, as well as many aunts and uncles.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Georges and Lumina Bourque; paternal grandparents, Tilmon and Dora Goguen.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Friday August 14, 2020 at 11 am. Visiting hours will be Friday from 10 am until time of funeral.

Limit of 50 people at the funeral centre at any given time. Social distancing regulations are in effect.

Masks are mandatory to enter the funeral centre.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the diabetes association would be appreciated by the family.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
