At the CHU Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont, Moncton, on Friday July 31, 2020 passed away at the age of 84, Emerise Porelle. She lived in Shediac. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Aldéric and Agnès (Cormier) Richard.
She is survived by her children: Juliette Porelle of Shediac, Norma LeBlanc (Roger) of Memramcook, Guillaume (Regane) and Sonia Porelle (Allain Gallant) both of Haute-Aboujagane; two sisters: Dorilla Dallaire (late Aubrey) of Haute-Aboujagane and Florence LeBlanc (late François) Valmond Boudreau of Shediac; one brother, Norbert Richard (Florence) of Haute-Aboujagane; four grandchildren: Gabriel (Julie), Nathalie (Luc), André (Catherine) and Mathieu; one step-grandson, Stéphane (Josée); one great-grandson, Jaxon; one step-great-granddaughter, Lexie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Emerise was predeceased by her husband, Azor Porelle (2009); a son, André; brothers and sisters: Yvonne, Adrice, Eric, Yvon, Arthur, Rose, Huberte, Ulysse, Lucie as well as infant siblings, Camille and Marie.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday, August 6 from 7pm to 9pm only.
Limit of 50 persons in the funeral home at any given time during visitation. Social distancing regulations will be in effect.
Masks are mandatory to enter the funeral centre.
The funeral service will be private at the Frenette Funeral Centre chapel on Friday, August 7, 2020. Interment will be in the Sacré-Cœur R.C. cemetery in Haute-Aboujagane.
In memory of Emerise, a donation to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Cardiology Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the staff of O’Bon Soins Residence of Shediac and the Palliative Care Unit of the CHU Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont for all the love and care given to our mother during her stay.
