Jeannine Collette, 86, of Damien Street, Dieppe passed away on Saturday August 1, 2020 at the Dr.Georges L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Béatrice (Hébert) Allain.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Conrad Collette; one son, Jason (Sylvie) of Abu Dhabi; one grand-daughter, Zoé whom she adored; four sisters: Blandine (Albénie) Cormier of Saint-Louis, Ethel (Lucien) Villeneuve of Dieppe, Odile (Michel) Hébert of Québec and Rosemonde (Paul) LeBlanc of Cocagne; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by two sisters: Doris and Viola; two brothers: Omer and Bermand.

Due to the pandemic and of the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus R. C. Church (457 Acadie Ave.) on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11am. The funeral will be videotaped and posted at the end of the day on her obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Jeannine, a contribution to the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

Social distancing regulations are in effect. Masks are mandatory to enter the church.
