Alexandros Sourtzis, 92, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Frantzi, Greece, he was the son of the late Dimitri and Drosou Sourtzis.

Prior to his retirement, Alexandros worked as a mechanic for many years at the former Hollis Lincoln and Mercury on Main Street.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Eleftheria; his daughter, Drosou (Darren Noiles) of Moncton; his son, Dimitri (Erica) of Ottawa; three grandchildren: Alexandros, Matthias and Ellianna; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Eleni (1996) as well as his sisters and brothers.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a private funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre in Moncton (858-1900). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary R.C. cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Alexandros, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of NB would be appreciated.
