Gerard Maillet, 77, of Moncton, passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday February 19, 2020. Born on December 2, 1942 in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of late Clovis and Nathalie (Caissie) Maillet.

He is survived by four children: Bobby Maillet, Jean-Guy Maillet, Denise Maillet, and Odette Cormier; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Thérèse Larcenaire; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several sisters and brothers.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday February 24 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Ste-Anne-de-Kent parish cemetery. In memory of Gerard, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
