Donald Boudreau, 80, of Shediac, passed away peacefully on Friday February 14, 2020 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Boudreau-Office, he was the son of the late Rodolphe and Sara (Melanson) Boudreau.

Donald was a former co-owner of Seaside Electric Ltd. He had a passion for golf. He also loved spending time communicating with people around the world with his Amateur radios, his call sign being VE9FG.

He will be missed by his children: Jocelyne Gagnon (Conrad) of Grand-Barachois, Gisèle Collette (Guy) of Shediac, Suzanne Boudreau of Brossard, QC, Joanne Boudreau (Aurele Cassidy) and Michel (Lisa Lirette) all of Shediac; a special friend: Camilla Boudreau of Shediac; the mother of his children: Yolande Boudreau also of Shediac; his grandchildren: Mathieu (Milika), Joël (Kim), Justin (Josée) and Émilie and his great-granddaughter: Maeve.

As per Donald’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private family service will be celebrated at a later date at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506) 532-3297. Interment will be held at St. Joseph cemetery, Shediac later in the spring.
