Shelley McKay, 59, of Bas-Cap-Pelé, formerly of Kingston ON, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Amherst NS, she was the daughter of Hughie R. and Annie (Thornton) Estabrooks.
She is survived by her two stepsons: Jason (Donna) of Innisfil ON and Joey of Halifax; brothers and sisters: Barbara Estabrooks, Anne Simpson (Percy) of Amherst NS, Edith Estabrooks (Phil) of Kentville NS, Linda Estabrooks, David both of Amherst NS, Eddy (Cathy) of Joggins and Kenny (Joan) of Amherst; two step-grandsons: Edward and Dylan.
She was predeceased by her spouse, David J. McKay and a brother, Gordon.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral services.
In memory of Shelley, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
