Emma Gallant, 82, of Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Saturday January 18, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on December 15, 1937 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Hypolite and Eva (Breau) Bourque.

She is survived by three sisters: Délina LeBlanc (late Yvon) of Shediac, Frilla Saulnier (Gérard) of Moncton and Rita Breau (late William) of Dieppe; two special nieces: Lisa Melanson (Mark) of Lakeville and Cindy Breau (Rick Arsenault) of Memramcook; as well as many more nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Emile; her daughter, Sylvine (1992); four brothers: Julien, Albert, Edgar and Emery.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Tuesday January 21 from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday January 22 at 11 am at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus R.C. Church, 457, Acadie Avenue in Dieppe. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Emma, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society (858-8380) would be appreciated.
