It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Aimé Cormier, 80, of Shediac, on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Zoël and Marguerite (Gallant) Cormier.
Aimé will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Alfreda; three children: Jocelyne (Paul) of Grand-Falls, Gilles (Lise) and Suzanne (Serge) all of Shediac; four sisters: Dorine (late Hector), Rose (Hélène), Catherine all of Shediac, Célia of Québec; two brothers: John (Annette) and Robert (Gladys) all of Ontario; six grandchildren: Patrick (Ashley), Mario (Annie-Rose), Joel (Holly), Isabelle (Shannon), Christine (David) and Sébastien; five great-grandchildren: Jaxx, Joannie, Félix, Samuel and Kory; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four sisters: Doris, Aline, Rachel and Paulette; three brothers: Mauril, Francis and Alyre.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre from where the funeral will be celebrated on Saturday January 11, 2020 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Saturday from 10 am until time of chapel service followed by a reception. Interment will be in St-Henri de Barachois parish cemetery, Grand-Barachois.
