Cécile Babineau, 69, of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Sunday December 29, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on August 16, 1950 in St-Norbert, she was the daughter of the late Elie and Rose-Eva (Daigle) Thibodeau.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisette Gautreau (Marc) of Dieppe; her father, Rosario Babineau of Notre-Dame; two granddaughters: Chantal and Parise; her common-law husband, Edgar Doiron, of Grand-Barachois, and his children: Nadine Doiron (Marty Gullison) of Steeves Mountain, and Guy Doiron (Mélanie Léger) of Grand-Barachois, and grandchildren: Lucas, Kloe, and Marco; three sisters: Odette Murphy (Roger) of Grande-Digue, Jacqueline Maillet (Jean-Guy) of St-Antoine, and Estelle Thibodeau (Gabriel) of Cocagne; five brothers: Norbert (Anne) of Moncton, Alcide (Claudette) and Léon (Stella), both of St-Norbert, Pierre (Evelyne) of Calgary, AB, and Roger (Jocelyne) of Rogersville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Claude.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday January 3 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 2:30 pm until time of funeral. In memory of Cécile, a contribution to the Villa Providence (recreation) would be appreciated.
