Sylvie Gallant, 46, of Dieppe, passed away on Thursday December 19, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on December 20, 1972 in Newcastle, she was the daughter of Ronald and Cécilia (Gallant) Gallant of Collette.

She worked at the Government of Canada Pension Centre in Shediac. Sylvie adored watching her sons shine in the spotlight, whether it would be Olivier playing music, or Simon playing sports. She also enjoyed her dog Hudson’s company. She lived, laughed and loved to the fullest.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her partner, Brian Hedd; two sons: Olivier and Simon, both of Dieppe, and their father, Phillippe Gaudet (Alfred Gould) of Dieppe; one brother, David (Lisa) of Moncton; her paternal grandmother, Eva Gallant of Rogersville; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Léon and Alice Gallant; and her paternal grandfather, Edgar Gallant.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday December 23 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Sunday from 1 to 4 pm only. Interment will be in Collette parish cemetery.

In memory of Sylvie, a contribution to the Dieppe Minor Baseball Association, Hockey Dieppe-Memramcook, Université de Moncton Music Department or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
