Edgar Bourque, 87, formerly of Robichaud passed away on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Hypolite and Éva (Breau) Bourque.
Before his retirement, he was a truck driver. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed gardening, woodcutting, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his six children: Rachelle Bourque of Dieppe, Jeannine Cormier (Gilles) of Pré-d’en-Haut, Marie-Lynn Leblanc (Léo-Paul) of London, ON, Annette Bourque (Lucille Poirier), Raymond Bourque (Crystal Landry) and Nicole Vienneau (Marc) all of Moncton; four sisters: Emma Gallant (late Émile), Frilla Saulnier (Gérard), Délina Leblanc (late Yvon) and Rita Breau (late William); five grandchildren: Mélanie, Mathieu, Martin, Christine and Marissa; one great grand-daughter, Erica, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Aline (2016); and three brothers: Emery, Albert and Julien.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532–3297) on Thursday, December 5 from 6 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand–Barachois on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2 pm. Inurnment will be held at Frenette Funeral Center Columbarium, Shediac.
