Gérard LeBlanc, 91, passed away peacefully at l’Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe on November 1, 2019. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Hennesay and Eva (Albert) LeBlanc.

Gerry ʺPineʺ was first and foremost a family man and he had many friends.  He enjoyed family get togethers, a good game of pool or cards and was proud of his yearly party that he organized for some 40 years at his camp in Ste-Marie-de-Kent which became known as the ‘Shin-Ding’. 

Gerry will be sadly missed by sons Paul (Louise), Maurice (Dianne), Donald (Yvette), Guy (Diane) and daughter Denise: his sister Léoline LeBlanc (late Raymond); his seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife Florine (Bourgeois), son Frank, siblings Rita (late John Roby), Emile (Amélia), Léo (Colette), Yvonne (late Raymond DesRoches), Laurie ‘Howie’ (Stella).

The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and care Dad received from the caregivers and staff at l’Auberge du Soleil and the Extra Murale. 

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506) 858-1900 on Monday November 4, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday November 5, 2019 at 11:00 at Christ-Roi Church on 300 Dominion Street, Moncton. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary in Dieppe. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Gerry’s memory to the Canadian Lung Association or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
