Sara Petitpas, 69, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 5h, 2019. Born October 26, 1949 in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of June (McFadden) Poirier and the late John Poirier.
She leaves to mourn her mother, June; her son, Ian (Julie Bourque); her sister, Peggy Poirier; two brothers: Richard and Brian; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley (2018).
By request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood cemetery on Thursday October 10 at 1pm. In memory of Sara, a contribution to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Canada or Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
