Pierrette Deschênes, 82, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on August 8, 1937 in Ste-Perpétue, Qué., she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Laura (Leclerc) Lacharité.

She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Deschênes; one grandson, Loïc Giroux; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving members of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roland (1989); as well as her sisters and brothers.

Elaine and Loïc will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday September 20 from 6 to 9 pm only. In memory of Pierrette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (palliative care) would be appreciated.
