Edith Duplissis, 80, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday September 12, 2019 at her residence. Born on March 28, 1939 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Anibert and Exelda (Caissie) LeBlanc.

She is survived by her husband, Edouard; two children: Jeannine Arsenault (Donald Chapman) and Anthony "Tony" (Nicole), both of Moncton; two grandchildren: Marcel and Michael; one great-granddaughter, Kelci; three sisters: Thérèse LeBlanc (late Gérard), Doris Arsenault (late Alcide) and Florence Richard (late Jean); as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Bernice, Anita, and Anne-Marie; two brothers: Henri and Léo.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the staff and nurses of Moncton Residence (Victoria Wing) for their wonderful care provided to Edith.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday September 17 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
