Sister Annette Belliveau ndsc, of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away following a lengthy illness on Sunday September 8, 2019, at the convent where she resided. She was 81 years old and in the 63rd year of her religious life. Born on May 20, 1938 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and Hermine (Jaillet) Belliveau.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by three sisters: Gloria Robinson (Donald) of Québec, Rose-Marie Belliveau (Renaud) of Bouctouche, and Thérèse LeBlanc of Moncton; two brothers: Fernand (Jeannine) and Rhéal (Simonne), both of Bouctouche; as well as several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Jeannita Allain (Raoul) and Émilia Gallant (Clarence).
Sister Annette will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavilion of the Maison-mère, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Tuesday September 10 from 2 to 8:30 pm and Wednesday September 11 from 9 am until the time of funeral mass. Solemn Vespers will be held on Tuesday evening at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 11 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10:15 am. Interment will be in Memramcook.
