Rita Roby, 95, of Moncton, passed away on Friday August 30, 2019 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on October 30, 1923 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Anecey and Eva (Albert) Leblanc.

She is survived by her son: Léo (Jocelyne Brion) of Cap-d’Espoir, Qué.; two granddaughters: Andréa and Roxanne; two great-grandsons: Bastien and Lucas; her sister: Léoline and her brother: Gérard (Gerry) Leblanc of Moncton; as well as nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband: Jean-Baptiste (John) Roby (2005); her son: Normand (2018); her sister: Yvonne DesRoches; and her brothers: Emile, Léo and Laurie Leblanc.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Saturday September 28 at 11 am followed by a reception. Visiting hours are Saturday September 28 from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
