Elizabeth "Bessie" Brydges, 88, formerly of Point-du-Chêne passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Sunday, August 18th, 2019. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of Cecile and Mathilda (Petitpas) Wallace.
Bessie is survived by her daughter, Darlene Brydges (Edna) of Caissie Cape; her son, Russell Wallace (Shirley) of Shediac; a sister: Edna Thibodeau of Riverview; three grandchildren: Chrystal, Tony and Cindy, several great grandchildren as well by many nieces and nephews.
Bessie was predeceased by her spouse Robert Luther Brydges; a daughter, Marlene Melanson; her sisters: Kathleen Walton, Dora Fougère, Diana Roberts and Geraldine Loggie; two brothers: Patrick and Cecile Jr.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday, August 22nd from 9:30 am till time of chapel services at 11 am.
In memory of Bessie, a contribution to the Vestiaire St-Joseph or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
