
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Dupuis wish to announce her sudden passing at the age of 93, on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Residence Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton. Born on August 1, 1925 in St-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Appoline (Daigle) DesRoches.
Prior to her retirement in 1987, she was a receptionist at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
She is survived by three sons: Maurice (Jo-Anne) of Riverview, Gilles (Joanne), and Paul (Monique), both of Grande-Digue; seven grandchildren: Marc, Julie, Adrien, Mathieu, Justin, Mélanie, and Daniel; five great-grandchildren: Autumn, Alexis, Carter, Jordyn, and Alexia; four sisters: Catherine Maillet (Lawrence) of Cap-Lumière, Lauréanne Mazerolle (late Alyre) of Moncton, Sr Marie-Anne DesRoches, cnd, of Saint-Louis, and Jeannette LeBlanc of Richibucto; one brother, Yvon (Gervaise) of Québec, QC; three sisters-in-law: Jeannette DesRoches, Jeannine DesRoches, and Ange-Marie DesRoches, all of St-Louis; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tilmon (2000); two sisters: Yvette and Diana; four brothers: Alcide, Adrien, Vital, and Alphonse.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday July 22 at 11 am followed by a reception. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Ethel, a contribution to the Harvest House or to the House of Nazareth would be greatly appreciated.
