Our hearts have been shattered once again; our beloved mother Christina was taken away to be with her husband Léonce who was also called to heaven three weeks ago.
Surrounded by her family, Christina Bourque (Brine), 84, of Shediac passed away on Friday July 12, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC in Moncton. Born in Botsford Portage, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norman Brine and the late Mildred McGrath.
Christina was a beautiful soul. She cherished everyone around her. She loved spending time with her husband and friends playing cards at their camp. She welcomed many people with her genuine smile at the Shediac Bakery where she retired after 25 years.
She leaves to mourn her children: Bernice Bourque (Rob), Paul Bourque (Gisèle) both of Shediac and Brenda LeBlanc (Marcel) of Moncton; one granddaughter, Jessica LeBlanc (Denis); two special great-granddaughters: Anabelle and Veronique; one brother-in-law, Normand Bourque (late Thérèse), as well as many nieces and nephews that she adored and lots of friends with whom she shared so many beautiful memories.
Her husband, Léonce (Jeff) Bourque, predeceased her on June 19, 2019, also an infant son Ti-Jean; six sisters: Rita Smith (Ray), Daphna Bordage (Fred), Irène LeBlanc (Maurille), Agnes Allain (Eric), Gladys Burton (Rusty) and Marguerite Girouard. Christina was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
