Cécile Landry, 90, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence, Shediac on Friday, July 5th, 2019. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Louis and Emma (Duguay) Donelle.
She retired from Fred’s Restaurant as a cook.
She is survived by her children: Patricia (Joe) Richard of Haute-Aboujagane, Linda (Donald) LeBlanc and Claire (Émerie) Saulnier both of Cap-Pelé, Linda LeBlanc (Reggie Brine) of Shemogue, Bernice LeBlanc (Mike Hugh) of Edmonton AB, Laurine (Michel LeBlanc) of Cap-Pelé and Richard (Denise) of Dieppe; 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and also by several brothers and sisters of a family of 23.
She was predeceased by her husband, Larry; three sons: Paul Jacob, Fernand Jacob and Louis Landry and two grandchildren: Monica LeBlanc and Jenny Brine.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Monday, July 8th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm, Tuesday, July 9th from 1 pm till time of departure.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Tuesday at 2 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Cécile, a contribution to the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
