Romeo "Joe" Joseph Leger, 76, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 22, 2019 at his cottage in St-Thomas.  Born on July 15, 1942 in St- Antoine, he was the youngest of four children of Irenée and Alba (Cormier) Leger.

He is survived by two sons: Richard and Robert; his grandson, RJ; his granddaughter, Lucy; his companion, Gisele Roy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Annette (Richard); his sister, Aline Arsenault; and his brothers: Bert Leger and Leo Paul Leger.

To his many friends, Joe would like you to have a drink and a laugh in his memory, and remember "Every Day is a Bonus".

As per Joe’s wishes, no service will be held.  A party to celebrate his life will be planned soon. Memorials or donations in Joe’s name can be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
