Thérèse Maillet, 71, of Shediac, passed away on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Elzéar and Lorraine (Lirette) Collette.

Thérèse worked 23 years at the Villa Providence as an LPN.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Octave; her sons: David (Monique) of Dieppe and Mike (Renée) of Shediac; her siblings: Marie-Mai Collette (Joe) of St. Cloud, FL., Monique Collette (late Eric Young) of Shediac, Bernice Nandan (Vince) of De Winton, AB, Roland (Dorice) and Jeannette Collette (late Albert) all of Grand-Barachois; two grandchildren: Dawson and Hayley; one step-granddaughter, Carlie, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Thérèse was predeceased by her infant sister, Jeannette.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 9 am until time of celebration. A celebration of Thérèse’s life will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre Chapel at 11 am.

Donations to the Diabetes Association or to the CHU Dumont (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
