Célestine Surette, 92, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at Hillside View Special Care Home. Born on June 16, 1926 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and Céleste (Landry) Surette.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for the City of Moncton in the Treasury Department.

Célestine was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings: René, infant Raymond, Eloi, Régis, Edgar, Charlie, Geneviève "Jeanne", Sarah, Edmée "Mai", Eva, and Flora.

By request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday June 10 at 10 am. In memory of Célestine, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
