It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albertine LeBlanc, 88, of Moncton, on Monday June 3, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on October 14, 1930 in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Lazare and Marguerite (Daigle) Robichaud.

A woman of great faith and an exceptional host, she loved being with her children, grandchildren, family and everyone who crossed her path. She was passionate about reading and listening to music.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda Morin (Jim) and Janice LeBlanc (Terry), both of Moncton; four sons: Réginald (Donna) of Dieppe, Don (Aurore) of Haute-Aboujagane, Grégoire and Jean-Marc (Dre Blandine Cormier), both of Moncton; nine grandchildren: Jamie, Shawn, André, Mélanie, Ann, Ricky, Donnie, Justin, and Miguel, as well as several great-grandchildren; eight sisters: Lauzia Vautour and Rita Lapadula (late Dan), both of Moncton, Vianna Gallant (late Alcide) and Julie King, both of Dieppe, Germaine Gallant (late Hector) of Grand Falls, Norma Taylor (Bill) of Elgin, Thérèse Graham (Jack) of Richibucto, and Laudia Savoie (late Yvon) of Pointe-Sapin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Léonard (2002); she was predeceased by two brothers: Robert (Lorraine) and Léo (Mérina).

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 3:30 pm until time of departure (4:15). The funeral service will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday June 7 at 4:30 pm followed by a reception. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Albertine, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
